I have been wondering for a while, after being with Glossy Box for over a year, whether I should change my subscription and try something different. I have already tried Birch Box. Please let me know whether you have any suggestions. Anyway, let’s get started!
Essence Mosaic Compact Powder
I don’t know how much use I will get out of this but I will attempt to give it a go. It’s a light bronzer with glitter interspersed. I will add swatches at the end. Not really something I have ever gravitated towards when browsing the Essence counter.
Leighton Denny Expert Nails
I love the idea of this, but I am skeptical. The idea is to spray it onto freshly painted nails, and it claims to dry them in 2- 3 seconds. I have tried something like this before, and it was crap so I am leaving the jury out.
Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner
This is a double ended pencil with a medium brown on one side and a light shade on the other (I assume to highlight). The pencil is quite tough, rather than creamy, which I suppose will make it longer lasting when on the brows. I don’t know if I could separate from my Soap and Glory Brow Archery pencil.
STYL London Temporary Henna Tattoos
Don’t get me wrong, these are really pretty. But being someone who has quite a few tattoo’s already, I can’t ever imagine myself picking these up… I will probably give these away.
The Body Shop Oils of Life Revitalising Facial Oil
This is probably the only thing I may be interested in out of this box. The aim is to massage into your face, neck and décolletage for a radiant and nourished complexion. However… this is a sample size. The full size will set you back £28. So I will have to really like this to consider the full size!
Overall, this box really wasn’t for me. Nothing really blew me away or excited me, but I suppose that’s the risk you run with boxes like these!
